Coverage For Physiotherapist Assistant
If you are working as a Physiotherapist/Rehabilitation Assistant in a physiotherapy setting, or if you are a physiotherapist wishing to purchase coverage for your physiotherapist assistants, please contact Aon directly or download the application below. Physiotherapist assistants are invited to participate in the Professional Liability Insurance Program offered by CPA through QBE Insurance Company.
Physiotherapist assistants are considered any: Trained personnel who assist in the provision of physiotherapy services under the direction and supervision of a registered, licensed physiotherapist.
- Coverage is offered ONLY to physiotherapist assistants who are supervised by CPA members with CPA Professional Liability insurance for physiotherapists.
- Physiotherapist assistants are already covered by Clinic Professional Liability insurance if they are employed by a CPA member that holds both personal CPA Professional Liability insurance for physiotherapists and CPA Clinic Professional Liability coverage.
- Professional Liability insurance is only valid for the work that is supervised by a physiotherapist with CPA malpractice insurance. All other work is not covered by the policy.
The Program is only available to CPA members. Physiotherapist assistants are invited to join CPA as members or affiliate members, as determined by eligibility criteria.
