Directors & Officers Liability Overview

The Legacy CGA Professional Liability/E&O Insurance Program offers optional Directors and Officers Liability Insurance for Legacy CGA firms registered with their CGA or CPA Provincial affiliate office in public practice. This coverage is underwritten by Axis Reinsurance Company (Canadian Branch) which provides the following core coverages at competitive rates:

• Limits of Liability up to $2,000,000 available without a program aggregate
• Coverage extended to Estates, Heirs, and legal representatives
• Non-rescindable Side A D&O coverage
• Entity Coverage
• Blanket coverage for all Outside Positions with few exceptions
• Employment Practices Liability including Third Party Claims
• Fiduciary Liability coverage included for pension plans, RRSP plans, employee health and welfare benefit plans set up for Insured’s employees
• Option to purchase Extended Reporting Coverage for one year for an additional premium
